A kaleidoscopic virtual experience of a full-on night out at one of 90s London’s most liberated parties. Starting June 26, Le Cinéma Club is presenting a week-long online screening of Dick Jewell’s wild and immersive footage compilation, shot at London’s legendary West End party Kinky Gerlinky.

Wild, extravagant and impossibly glamorous, bi-monthly clubnight Kinky Gerlinky debuted in 1989, and for four years was the London West End's most proudly hedonistic intersection of queer culture, fashion, music and the avant-garde. Even with 90s icons like Boy George and Vivienne Westwood in regular attendance, the party gleefully subverted celebrity, making every reveler a star. Mixed-media artist Dick Jewell was the party's official recorder, capturing over 200 hours of footage over 21 nights, later assembled to convey a full-on night out at the club.
