Studio Manager and Visual Director – DoBeDo Represents Ltd (London, UK)

DoBeDo Represents Ltd is looking for full-time hands-on Studio Manager and Visual Director to work alongside our team and with our roster of artists in our UK office. Ability to efficiently multitask, maintain a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills are essential for this position. We are looking for a candidate that is imaginative and flexible with a strong work ethic, calm under pressure and always interested in finding creative solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Artist Archives - Maintain digital and tear sheet archive. Photo and video work neatly and thoroughly catalogued and updated regularly.
  • Artist PDF's / Video Reels - Update agency and general artist overview PDFs. Create individual PDFs per inquiry and client with agents. Update general commercial reel for artists and Vimeo showreels.
  • Website - Update newspage and portfolios as new work releases. Curate website portfolios for new artists.
  • Social Media – Update Instagram account working closely with the agents.
  • Newsletter - Mailchimp template with new artist’s work and send newsletter every 2-3 months or as per agent’s request.
  • Client Research – Collaborate with agents on researching suitable clients per artist and contacts at each brand. Assist agents in artist development.
  • Artists – On-boarding of new artists archive and portfolios. Reach and development for potential new artists and build relationships with potential new artists.
  • Artist Personal Projects – Support and coordinate artists personal projects.
  • DoBeDo Projects - Support with artist exhibitions and book publishing projects.
  • Studio Manager:
    • Manage the UK office and support UK office set up. Remotely support US office needs.
  • Manage internal vendors including internet and phone providers, office supplies and equipment, cleaners, etc.
  • Provide general tech support as needed to create new artist calendars, manage new employee email account setup, vendor profiles and management, etc.
  • Artists US Visas - Work with immigration counsel on collecting and organizing supporting documents for artists’ visas.
  • Identity / Ephemera – Brainstorm and manage company identity, including ideas for stationary and ephemera.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3+ years experience
  • Proficient in Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign, Excel, Adobe
  • Background in arts
  • Excited about developing skills and expanding their role
  • Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional verbal communication & written skills
  • Proactive and reliable with a heartfelt and genuine interest is supporting artists
  • Excellent time management skills in order to prioritize tasks and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at the same time while working under tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and have the ability to adapt to changing and shifting requirements quickly
  • Comfortable working independently and to self-teach
  • Passion for trying new things, and ability to quickly provide alternative solutions/ideas
  • Additional foreign language skills a plus
